World of Heroes is getting ready for a brand new server named Alcyoneus, on November 28th 7pm. This second server is part of our continuing promotion of the exciting v2.1 launch on Yeepgame (www.yeepgame.com).
If you have not heard about what new features are coming in World of Heroes, we are here to make sure you know about it!
The first thing you will notice when you log in is the graphics update. The Castle of the Riders, the Glade of the Elves and the Tower of the Wizards all have gotten slick new 3D graphics for their locations. This very Impressive looking mystical locations will make for a more immersive gaming experience.
World of Heroes uses a 'chess-like' battle system where a player controls every action along a hexagon grid, similar to chess (people who have played the 'Heroes of Might and Magic' series will be very familiar with this). This creates a very tactics heavy game, where you will need to out think your opponent in order to survive. V2.1 Introduces combined attacks, place your troops next to an enemies base and when one attacks they will all unleash a barrage of damage unto their foes! So plan your attacks carefully and gauge your strengths and think about your enemies’ weakness that is the way you will lead your forces to victory!
The kingdom is filled with powerful magic. Spells that will aid, and spells that will harm. Spells that will hinder your army, and spells that will smite your enemies!
Your heroes are the ones who cast spells on the field of battle. World of Heroes v2.1 now has a 9 level magic tree. The majority of these spells are used to change the conditions on the battlefield, whether you summon undead or increase your troops attacking or defending power. It is ultimately up to you how to use them.
Players from each nation are grouped into factions. The following areas are available in each nation: People (civilian) Area, Soldier Area, Noble Area, King Area and God Area. The more parts of a map a player owns, the more areas they can explore. Exploration leads to more gold, as how much gold that lies in each area depends on the number of players in a region. World of Heroes v2.1 brings nationwide wars for these resources.
Players also can participate in PVP directly. In every area there is a player ranking system, it shows how players can directly change their rank and who they need to challenge to increase it!
